Malaysia, India and Russia are interested in development of the open sambo competitions among blind people

On the 26th of March there was a meeting between the All-Russian Sambo Federation President Sergey Eliseev, Chairman of the sambo development committee for blind people Roman Novikov and Malaysia Sambo Association Secretary General Susan Cheah and President of the Sambo federation of India Suresh Gopi.

Exchange in experience and sambo practice among blind and deaf people were discussed at the meeting between Malaysia, India and Russia. It was also dedicated to the sambo development in the international arena and organization of the open sambo competitions among blind people.

The attention to this sphere has been raised and the blind get mutual trainings with athletes in the sports clubs in Russian and in Malaysia as well. It is worth to mention that this approach has got a dramatic social effect.

In the framework of 2015-2016 the International sambo federation is going to elaborate the international sambo rules for blind people, and a committee for disable people will be created in the composition of the FIAS commissions
