Youthful tournament in Armenia in memory of Viktor Alihanyan

On the last Sunday in the Yerevan sport center “Ashkhatank” has passed traditional youthful tournament in memory of Viktor Alihanyan, one of founders of sambo-wrestling in Armenia, the deserved couch of republic.

In the competitions organized by Armenian Sambo Federation and Yerevan youthful sambo-wrestling and a judo sport-school, 189 young sportsmen from Yerevan, Gumri, Vanadzor, Artashat, Abovyan, Charentsavan, Nor Achin have taken part. Tournament passed in two age groups: young boys of 1996-1997 of a birth struggled for prize-winning places in ten weight categories, and boys of 1998 of a birth and are more younger — in twelve.

All winners and prize-winners of tournament awarded by the medals and diplomas.
