The World sambo Championship among masters (35 years and older) have taken part more than 200 sportsmen from 19 countries on October 26th has come to the end in Greece.
Representatives of Russia got the best results and it is necessary to note especially Aslambek Aslakhanov, the Deserved master of sports, a member of a board of guardians of the All-Russia sambo Federation, who has won competitions in a weight category up to 90 kg among wrestlers not older 70 years. Thus, Aslakhanov got the seventh World Champion title among masters!
Aslambek Aslakhanov is the president of the all-Russian public organization “Association of workers of law enforcement and special services of the Russian Federation”, the deserved couch of Russia and the vice-chairman of the committee of Council of Federation on the international affairs. Traditional tournament on sports and combat sambo on prizes of Aslambek Aslakhanov is included in official FIAS calendar.
