Cup of the President of Russian Federation

On Friday, May 7 the Cup of the President of Russian Federation will held in Moscow Universal Sport Hall “Druzhba” in Luzhniki. 6 sambo teams representing 8 countries (Armenia, Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Ukraine and Russia) takes part in the tournament.

At 10 a.m. two matches of the first preliminary round will held: Armenia vs Moldova and Ukraine vs United Baltic team (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia). Belarussian and Russian national teams will join to fight for the trophy from semifinal round. Russian team will match the winner of the first pair (Armenia vs Moldova), Belarussian team will match the winner of the second pair (Ukraine vs United Baltic team).

Also in the morning part of the VII Cup of the President of Russian Federation will held the bronze medal match. The evening part of the tournament will start at 5 p.m. with the opening ceremony. Then the gold medal match (winners of two semifinals) will held.
