Today is the second day of the international referee seminar, which is conducted by an international category referee Alexey Lebedev (sports sambo) and Sergey Gromov (combat sambo) in the Centre of sports and education “Sambo-70” Moskomsport.
During the seminar the referees study the new rules of Sambo approved January 1, 2016.
The seminar also addresses requirements for equipment, evaluation criteria, technical changes, throw, suffocating and painful holds in combat sambo, the actions and tactics of referee’s work on the mat and many other issues. The participants will master the nuances of refereeing during a visual demonstration on the mat.
Unlike previous year, the officials of the African continent from countries such as Algeria, Niger, Cameroon and Morocco widely participate in the seminar.
On the final day of the workshop (24 March) each successful candidate will be awarded a certificate confirming the right to referee the international tournaments for two years.
