The inclusion of sambo into the Olympic program is in our daily work plan, says the president of the European Sambo Federation Sergey Eliseev.
“Right now we are finishing our report for full membership of the International Sambo Federation (FIAS) in the IOC. IOC Members were monitoring us for the past three years, attended our biggest competitions, we participated in every congress and meeting. So I hope that in 2021 our federation will become a full member at the next IOC session”, — Mr. Eliseev told to reporters in Novi Sad, where on November 5 starts the World Championships.
We remind you that the tournament is combined with the Youths & Juniors World Championship that was already planned to take place in Serbia and will last four days — from November 5 to 8.
