On the day of the 76th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, a friendly wrestling match meeting of the youth teams of the Hero Cities of Moscow and Minsk was held in Moscow.
The opening ceremony in the center of sports and education “Sambo-70” was attended by State Secretary for the Union State of Russia and Belarus Dmitry Fyodorovich Mezentsev; President of All-Russian and European Sambo Federations; Member of the Executive Committee of the FIAS, President of the Association of Athletes “We Come from Sambo”, Honored Master of Sports of the USSR, Honored Trainer of the Republic of Belarus, three-time World Sambo Champion Vladimir Yaprintsev: Honored Worker of Physical Culture of the Russian Federation, Honored Trainer of Russia, First Vice President of the All-Russian Sambo Federation, President of the Moscow Sambo Federation, General Director of the Sambo-70 Sports and Education Center Renat Layshev.
In friendly wrestling match in sambo took part boys and girls in age between 12 and 17 years old and in weight category from 35 to 71 kilograms. In total, there was 12-wrestle meetings. Team of athletes from Moscow carry the palm in friendly wrestling match.
