From 17 to 19 February last, the adaptation — alignment course for SAMBO technical teachers was held at the welcoming Red Gym in Fonte Nuova (Rome), also valid as a technical update for coaches, instructors and technicians already in possession of qualification, coming from eight different Italian regions.
At the course, held by the sector manager Roberto Ferraris assisted by the international referee Paolo Saccone, he placed the emphasis on two main topics: the preparatory activity together with the specific teaching for pre-competitive children and updates on the international FIAS competitive regulation.
This last point, which was also dealt with through video support, was particularly interesting in consideration of the fact that after these modifications, new strategic ideas on the tactics of the fighting have emerged.
The next training appointment for both coaches and referees will be held from 2 to 7 July in Lavarone (TN) on the occasion of the summer training camp.
