The Chinese city of Chengdu received the right to host the World Games 2025. The corresponding decision was made at the plenum of the Executive Committee of the International World Games Association.
The World Games are organized by the International Association of World Games, and the list of sports competitions mainly consists of sports that are not included in the Olympic program. Like the Olympics, the World Games are held every four years. The next World Games in 2021 will be hosted by Birmingham, USA.
