Dushanbe is hosting the World Sambo Masters Championship. Competitions among sambo wrestlers over 35 years old will be held in the capital of Tajikistan on October 25-27. Famous champions and amateur athletes from different countries will compete for medals in 7 age categories.
Traditionally, such tournaments bring together old friends who once competed together. Someone will come to take revenge for the previous defeat, someone will try to set a new record for the number of victories. But the main thing that unites all the participants is the love for sambo, which they carry in their hearts throughout their lives.
The World Sambo Masters Championship will be held at the Tennis Palace and Aquatics Center of Dushanbe in the following age and weight categories:
age categories (men): 35-39, 40-44 and 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-65, +65 years;
weight categories: 64, 71, 79, 88, 98, over 98 kg.
