The European Sambo Federation informs that the International Sambo Tournament in Memory of Archil Chokheli, scheduled for September 2025 in Tbilisi (Georgia), has been cancelled.
The Chokheli Memorial Tournament traditionally brings together the strongest sambo wrestlers of Europe and the world and is of great importance for the sports community. The European Sambo Federation regrets the cancellation and thanks all athletes, coaches and national federations who expressed interest in participating.
