Today, October 24, the ancient city of Bukhara (Uzbekistan) hosts the opening of the 2025 World Masters SAMBO Championships.
Over three days — October 24, 25, and 26 — the mats of the “Universal” Sports Complex will see bouts among men and women across various age and weight categories. The championship has gathered athletes from dozens of countries, including many European nations.
The Masters World Championships traditionally hold a special place in the SAMBO calendar. It is not only a sporting competition but also a meeting of like-minded people who continue to serve the sport, passing on their experience, fighting spirit, and friendship to new generations. These athletes prove that love for SAMBO knows no age.
