A meeting was held today between Osman Ashkin Baka, Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkey, and Mikhail Degtyarev, Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation. During the meeting, the nomad Games to be held in Bishkek in 2026 were discussed, as well as preparations for the 2027 European Games.
In his telegram channel, Mikhail Degtyarev noted:
“Turkey will host the European Games in 2027. I suggested to Mr. Baku to consider the possibility of holding negotiations with the European and International Sambo Federations on the inclusion of SAMBO competitions in the program of the Games.”
