A seminar for sambo referees, included in the 2026 calendar of events of the Turkish Federation of Developing Sports Branches — Sambo General Coordination, was held in Bursa on January 17-18, 2026. Conducted under the supervision of the General Coordinating Board of Sambo, 27 candidate sambo referees participated in the course. The course, which included both theoretical and practical training, was successfully completed.
Those who pass the exam at the end of the course will be sent to compete in sambo in 2026. In his statement on the occasion, Sambo General Coordinator Kadir Yusufoğlu expressed satisfaction with the continued growth and strengthening of the Turkish sambo community.
