We present a detailed photo report from the educational and methodological seminar for referees and coaches, which took place as part of the European Sambo Cup in Dubrovnik (Republic of Croatia).
The event became an important stage in preparation for the tournament, bringing together specialists from different countries to synchronize their understanding of the rules and improve the quality of refereeing on the international stage.
The seminar was led by Ivan Netov (Republic of Bulgaria). The Chairman of the Refereeing Commission of the European Sambo Federation (ESF), European and World Sambo Champion, shared his wealth of experience and thoroughly examined the current technical nuances of refereeing matches.
The seminar covered:
• Current changes and interpretations of ESF and FIAS rules;
• Analysis of complex refereeing situations based on video footage;
• Methodological recommendations for coaches on preparing athletes for international competitions.
The European Sambo Federation expresses its gratitude to the organizers of the European Cup, the Croatian Sambo Federation, for the high level of preparation of the venue and the creation of comfortable conditions for the educational program.
