The Sambo training camp concluded in Italy

July 08

On Friday, July 4, the 24th Sambo training camp concluded in Lavarone, Tennessee, Italy. The event traditionally took place in the Cimbrian Alps at an altitude of 1,200 meters above sea level—a location considered stable for long training sessions and relaxing relaxation, thanks to the favorable climate and mountain air.

The camp was attended by coaches and athletes from nine regions of Italy. This year, special attention was paid to the training of cadets, youth, and junior sambists, who began active preparation for upcoming international competitions. The camp program, consisting of individual intensive training sessions, technical elements, and sparring, is aimed at improving the skills of the young athletes.

The Lavarone training camp has remained an important platform for the development of Sambo in Italy for many years, helping to maintain ties between regions and develop national teams to achieve success on the international stage.
