One of the most prestigious Sambo events in the world is returning to the heart of Russia. The regulations for the International Tournament “Sambo Founders Cup” and the subsequent international training camp have been officially published. The events will be held in Moscow in March 2026.
The Sambo Founders Cup is more than just a competition; it is a tribute to the founders of our sport and a test of strength for sambists worldwide. All events will be held at one of the best specialized arenas in the world — the International Sambo Center (Luzhniki).

A two-day training camp will begin immediately after the final bouts. This is a unique platform for leading coaches and athletes from around the world to collaborate. Participants will have the opportunity to spar with representatives of various national schools, explore technical nuances, and prepare for the next major events of the season in a highly competitive environment.
National federations from all countries are invited to participate in the tournament and training camp. Full participation requirements, equipment requirements, weight categories, and application deadlines are detailed in the official competition regulations, which are now available for download on the website.
